This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic culture as a strategy for character development among students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo. The research employs a combination of descriptive qualitative and field study approaches, using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that Islamic cultural values are implemented through religious habituation, teacher role modeling, structured religious programs, and the reinforcement of ethical values in social interactions within the school environment. This integration contributes to the development of students’ discipline, responsibility, politeness, and religiosity. The study highlights that Islamic culture is not merely symbolic or routine, but functions as a value system internalized through the educational process. These results contribute to the development of Islamic-based character education models in secondary educational institutions.
