An-Nahdhah: Journal of Education and Culture

General Information

An-Nahdhah: Journal of Education and Culture is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and conceptual papers in the fields of education, culture, and related interdisciplinary studies. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by other journals.

Types of Manuscripts

The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  1. Research Articles
  2. Review Articles
  3. Conceptual Papers
  4. Case Studies
  5. Interdisciplinary Studies related to Education and Culture

Language

  • Manuscripts may be submitted in English.
  • Authors are encouraged to ensure that the manuscript is grammatically correct and professionally edited before submission.

Manuscript Preparation

Article Length

  • Manuscripts should be between 5,000–8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
  • Longer manuscripts may be considered if justified by the scope and contribution of the study.

Formatting Requirements

  • Paper size: A4
  • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Paragraph alignment: Justified
  • Page numbers should be included.

For Review or Conceptual Articles

Title

  • The title should be concise, informative, and reflect the content of the manuscript.
  • The title should not exceed 20 words.

Abstract

The abstract should:

  • Consist of 150–250 words.
  • Briefly explain the background, objective, method, findings, and conclusion.
  • Be written in a single paragraph.
  • Avoid citations and abbreviations.

Keywords

  • Provide 3–5 keywords.
  • Keywords should represent the main topics of the manuscript.

Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively.
  • Each table and figure must have a title and source (if applicable).
  • Images should be of high quality and suitable for publication.

Citation and References

  • References should follow the APA Style (7th Edition).
  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
  • At least 80% of references should be from scholarly sources published within the last ten years.
  • Authors are encouraged to cite relevant international journal articles.

Ethical Standards

Authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original and free from plagiarism.
  • The manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
  • All authors have significantly contributed to the work.
  • Data presented in the manuscript are accurate and reliable.
  • Research involving human participants has received appropriate ethical approval when required.

Similarity Check

  • All submitted manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software.
  • The similarity index should not exceed 20%, excluding references and quotations.

Submission Process

Authors must submit manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system. The submission should include:

  1. Manuscript file.
  2. Author declaration form (if required).
  3. Ethical approval document (if applicable).

Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two reviewers.
  • Editorial decisions are based on originality, significance, methodology, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
